Our vision is to create lasting positive change through sustainable development and community empowerment.
At The Alampara, sustainability and luxury coexist to create a model for eco-conscious tourism. With an ambitious goal to achieve clean energy sufficiency by 2027, the initiative extends far beyond energy. It includes educating nearby villages on waste segregation, running a recycling plant that employs local talent, and operating a turtle and bird rehabilitation centre that safeguards local biodiversity. These efforts collectively aim to foster an environmentally responsible community that values both nature and innovation.
The TT Group’s partnership with the Covelong Arun Vasu Foundation led to the “Adopt a Surfer” initiative, offering young surfers training, nutrition, and education. This initiative has already helped athletes secure two spots in the 2026 Asian Games. Parallelly, investments in sustainable infrastructure and waste management have contributed to building resilient coastal communities. Collaborations like the one with Royal Enfield led to the development of a lifeguard tower at Kovalam Beach, enhancing coastal safety with trained emergency responders.
The Covelong Classic is more than just a festival—it’s a convergence of sports, community building, and marine conservation. With activities like surfing, stand-up paddleboarding, and yoga, the event champions both fitness and ecological awareness. A major highlight is the empowerment of local fishermen, who are trained in surfing and lifesaving, helping over 3,000 individuals gain skills for alternative livelihoods. Many have since started their own surf schools, contributing to the local economy and promoting a sustainable coastal lifestyle.
Surf Turf, situated in Covelong, has become a hub for environmental stewardship. Beyond being a beach retreat, it leads efforts in coastal conservation—ranging from clean-up drives to smart drainage systems. It plays a critical role in educating the community and implementing real change to protect shorelines. Moreover, it conducts turtle walks focused on the endangered Olive Ridley turtles, contributing to the survival of these species and the larger health of marine ecosystems.
TT Group’s CSR philosophy transcends traditional corporate responsibility, aiming to make a meaningful societal impact. With a commitment to sustainability, empowerment, and inclusivity, the Group supports projects that create long-term value—whether it’s through environmental initiatives, social upliftment, or education. Every action is designed to produce a ripple effect of positive change, fostering a future that aligns with the Group’s core values and a vision for a brighter tomorrow.
