Swedish home décor and furniture giant IKEA marked a major milestone by launching its online sales in Tamil Nadu at an event in Chennai yesterday, in the presence of Patrik Antoni, CEO, IKEA India & Dr. TRB Rajaa, Hon'ble Minister for Industries, Investment Promotions and Commerce in the Government of Tamil Nadu. As the Honorary Consul General of Sweden, I am personally delighted to witness this much-awaited e-commerce launch and to see such a strong, meaningful partnership take shape between IKEA and our state!
