Covelong Point Surfing Village

The Covelong community’s primary occupation has been fishing, a seasonal occupation that left the fisher people without any source of livelihood in some months. With the growth of surfing as a sport, there has been a greater need for trained instructors, better tourism options, more hospitality and food options, resulting in an economy that is less affected by seasons. The TT Group has also supplemented its efforts to help the community by supporting education and schools in the area. All of these efforts are part of the company’s responsible business actions towards economic growth and sustainable communities.
